In addition to being turned off by the fanaticism and behavior control tendencies of those who advocate a vegan lifestyle, I’m an amateur historian who understands that red meat is partly responsible for human evolution. Over time, the DNA-chromosomes chains become acclimated to nourishing specific parts and function of a healthy body. As with everything dietary in America that is exaggerated and fanaticized, health should never be about the extremes but instead, about moderation. Moderated hormone and antibiotic-free meat intake should be the key, along with a well-informed diet of fruits and vegetables. But in America, we are the masters of the simple solution to complex problems. Once we think we have a dietary solution to our poor health habits, we then jump on the bandwagon, feeling safe and happy, and then drop dead of a heart attack from the stress that we ignored from not changing our lifestyle to focus on overall wellbeing.
